About Us This website was created by a group of generation-spanning TAHS alumni that support changing the name of Turner Ashby High School. Want to get in touch? Email us here: renametahs@gmail.com Who started the original online petition? Cate Phillips, a recent JMU graduate, started the original petition on change.org to rename Turner Ashby High School. As proud alumni of TAHS, we have reached out to welcome Cate into our community. Unfortunately, Cate has been subjected to hate mail, physical threats, derogatory comments, and doxxing. We have no tolerance for bullying, intimidation, or physical threats. To date, Cate’s petition has garnered more than 2500 signatures.
